WagNote — Privacy Policy

WagNote is a pet-health record-keeping app. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who else sees it, and what control you have over it.
WagNote is operated by Eadrom Labs LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company, PO Box 1051, White House, TN 37188, United States.
The short version. We collect what you enter about your pet, plus your account details. We use it to run the app for you. We do not sell it, we do not advertise in the app, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below who help us operate WagNote. You can delete it.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your email address, and a name if you provide one.
- Your pets' information — everything you enter: names, species, breed, age, weight, medications and schedules, conditions, daily logs, symptoms, appetite, water intake, seizure and breathing records, feeding information, reminders, and notes.
- Documents and images you upload — photographs and PDFs of lab work, vaccine records, receipts and other veterinary paperwork, pet photos, and short symptom video clips.
- Your veterinary and emergency contacts, if you save them.
- Messages you send us, including support emails and any feedback you submit from within the app.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical information needed to run the app — such as your device type and operating system version, app version, and the time of your activity.
- Crash and error reports, so we can find and fix problems.
- Notification tokens, if you allow reminders, so your device can receive them.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your payment card details. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google.
- We do not collect your precise location. Where WagNote uses weather to time a calming-medication reminder, it works from the general area you set, not from continuous location tracking.
- We do not use advertising trackers, and WagNote carries no advertising.
2. Why we use it
We use your information only to run WagNote for you:
- To provide the app's features — storing your records, showing trends, generating summaries, and sending the reminders you set up
- To answer general pet-health questions you ask the in-app assistant
- To let the people in your family see the pets you share with them
- To create the summaries and care sheets you choose to share
- To keep your account secure and prevent misuse
- To fix problems and improve the app
- To reply when you contact us
- To meet legal obligations
We do not use your pets' health information to advertise anything to you, and we do not sell it. We do not sell personal information of any kind.
3. Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run WagNote. They act on our instructions and may use your information only to provide their service to us.

About the AI. When you ask the assistant a question, generate a summary, or have a document read, the relevant information is sent to Anthropic to produce the response. It is used to answer your request. The assistant does not search the open internet; it works from your own information and from a library of general veterinary reference material we prepared in advance.
We also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the safety or rights of someone, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business — in which case we would tell you first.
4. Information you choose to share
Some of WagNote's features exist to pass information to other people. When you use them, you decide what goes out:
- Your family. Anyone you invite onto a Family plan can see and change the information for the pets in it.
- Sitters, boarding facilities and clinics. A care sheet or summary you share can be viewed by whoever has it, and they can save or forward it.
- Exports. Anything you export or print leaves WagNote's control entirely.
Share only with people you trust, and remove access when it is no longer needed.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account exists.
When you delete something in the app, it is removed from your account. When you delete your account, we delete your information and your uploads from our systems. Copies may persist briefly in routine backups before those expire, and we keep the limited records we are required to keep by law — for example, records of a transaction.
6. Your choices
- See and correct. Everything you have entered is visible in the app and can be edited or deleted there.
- Delete your account. You can delete your account and everything in it — here is how. If you cannot find that option, email us at the address below and we will do it for you. Deletion is permanent — export anything you want to keep first.
- Turn off reminders. You can switch notifications off in the app or in your phone's settings.
- Leave the email list. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
- Cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are cancelled through your Apple or Google account, not through us.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information — to know what we hold, to obtain a copy, to correct or delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Residents of California and of other states with similar laws have these rights. To exercise any of them, email us. We will not charge you for it, and we may need to confirm your identity first.
We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we never have.
7. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls that keep each family's information separate, and authentication provided by established services.
No system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong, unique password, keep your device locked, and tell us promptly if you think someone has gained access to your account.
8. Children
WagNote is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, please email us.
9. Where your information is held
WagNote is offered in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use WagNote from elsewhere, you understand that your information will be handled here, under United States law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
